WINDSOR – Ward 98 councillor Beverley Weweje is praising a year of cleaning initiatives in the Windsor area.

Ward 98 councillor Beverley Weweje has taken the time to acknowledge members of the community who helped to contribute to a year of cleaning initiatives that regularly take place in the Windsor area.

Ward 98 councillor Beverley Weweje has extended her thanks to the community for a whole year of cleaning activities in the Windsor area.

Weweje said, “In June 2017 a group of residents in Windsor West met, rolled up their sleeves and decided to make a difference. Their resolve and determination to clean up Windsor West, has left me in awe and I’m grateful.” She said there have been many challenges, disappointments and frustrations, but the community has also had many victories along this journey.

“The 23rd of June marked the first anniversary of our set determination and our 12th cleanup campaign. I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the residents who availed themselves and to those residents who could not physically assist, but contributed substantially.

Windsor West is a better place because of you and I look forward to our next year of community building and victories.”
