Blairgowrie Primary School has announced its head prefects for next year.
Youngsters Ashlyn Hayter and Jack Stafford were selected as the head girl and head boy while Kriya Budhu and Gift Moyo were chosen as their deputies at the school’s assembly on 22 June.
The school announces the head prefects at the end of the second term to allow them to develop and grow into their new roles. Principal Pat Oosthuizen said they give the children equal opportunity to showcase their capabilities and qualities. “Someone who stands out with exceptional leadership, has integrity, someone who is involved in the school and epitomises our school motto – Be True.”
