Have you secured space for your child for 2019? Grades 1 and 8 applications close at midnight
JOBURG – D-day for Grade 1 and Grade 8 online applications.
JOBURG – Only a few hours remain until the 2019 Gauteng deadline for Grade 1 and Grade 8 pupils’ online applications.
Parents have until midnight to make their applications and secure spaces or they risk their children not being placed in the coming year.
The department is moving away from late applications and parents who do not apply online by midnight on the 28 May 2018 are running the risk of having their children out of school in January 2019 #GautengAdmission @GautengProvince

According to the Gauteng Department of Education, so far about 18 000 parents have been to the 37 decentralised admission centres where they received assistance with their online applications.
Some of the challenges encountered by the department during the application period include applicants applying to the wrong grade, entering incorrect addresses, lost or forgotten login credentials and a technical error when selecting “sibling” #GautengAdmissions

All parents who have made their applications are reminded to urgently submit documentation at the schools and these will be accepted until 5 June at 2.00pm.
Should any parent fail to meet this deadline, their position in the application queue will be forfeited.
Families who will be relocating from other provinces are also subject to the midnight application deadline.
According to the GDE, the placement process will start from 18 July 2018 and end 31 October 2018 #GautengAdmissions
