Two suspects in the Randburg dock after being bust with pellet gun

RANDBURG – Police arrested the suspects after searching their vehicle and finding a pellet gun and other items.

Two suspects, aged 25 and 26 years old were remanded in custody after briefly appearing in the Randburg Magistrates’ Court on 23 March, for being in possession of suspected stolen property.

According to Captain Makgowanyana Maja, spokesperson for the Randburg police, during the early hours of the morning on 21 March, the police were on patrol when they spotted a suspicious-looking vehicle in Beverly Gardens, Randburg.

“They stopped the vehicle and requested to search it. They found the suspects with a pellet gun and some other items. Upon requesting explanations, they failed to give satisfactory answers and were arrested for being in possession of the suspected stolen property,” said Maja.

The suspects were remanded in custody for further investigation to determine whether they could be linked to other cases.
