Reddy family still struggling after the death of their own in a car accident

RANDBURG – Reddy family is still calling for any witnesses to come forward.

The Reddy family will have respected senior prosecutor Yusuf Baba in their corner when they continue their quest for justice at the Randburg Magistrates’ Court.

The family lost their younger brother Caleb in a motor vehicle collision in December last year.

They are asking for any witnesses to come forward and strengthen their case against the alleged drunk driver that collided with Caleb’s vehicle.

He has been charged with drunk driving, culpable homicide and reckless endangerment, and bail was opposed.

A passenger in the accused’s vehicle that collided with Caleb’s also passed away earlier this month due to his injuries. This will add another culpable homicide charge to the list the driver currently faces.

Caleb’s sister, Natalie said the family is not doing well since the loss of their son and brother.

“Every day is a struggle and Caleb would soon be graduating which makes it that much harder for us.

“We scattered his ashes in the Vaal but we will not rest until those who are responsible for his untimely death are judged accordingly.”

The Reddy family was last in court at the beginning of the year and will return on 6 March.
