Police search for hijacking suspects

HONEYDEW – Man hijacked on his way to work.

Honeydew police are searching for any clues that can lead to the arrest of two suspects involved in a hijacking incident.

The victim was driving to work in his Nissan NP200 bakkie when he was allegedly blocked by a Ford Kuga on the corner of Taylor and Johan roads.

It is reported that Ford had no registration plates and two suspects, allegedly with firearms, got out and walked towards the victim.

The suspects are said to have instructed the driver to open the door and they drove to Magnum Road where they allegedly took R600 000 worth of goods from the victim.

The suspects then drove off, leaving the victim at the side of the road.
