Bells ring for the Grade1s at Trinityhouse Preparatory School

RANDPARK RIDGE – Trinityhouse Preparatory School Randpark Ridge hosts its annual Grade 1 bell ceremony.

The Grade 1s of Trinityhouse Preparatory School Randpark Ridge enjoyed the school’s annual bell ring ceremony on 19 January.

On this auspicious day, each child had the opportunity to ring the bell. Though some rings were loud and others gentle, each ring of the bell came with its own uniqueness.

The school’s hall was full of parents who dotingly looked up at their child as they took part in this special ceremony.

This bell ceremony, which started about six years ago, is to signify the announcement of new arrivals to the school. Such an occasion is of great importance as it shows that new life has come to the school.

The school principal, Hilton Scott, opened the ceremony with a speech that spoke of darkness and people needing a light to navigate themselves out of it. He expressed that the best light there is is the words spoken by God. “You are the lamp to my feet and the light to my path,” said Hilton as he quoted a verse from the Bible.

Hilton also said that in their school career, the Grade 1s will face challenges either at home or school but with God’s light, they will find success.

“I have watched many Grade 1s progress and become successful people through God’s word and it has been amazing to see.”
