RENILWE GAORAELWE: I will be doing nothing special this Christmas besides spending time with my family. It is always the same experience and nothing changes so its nothing special anymore. Maybe it would mean more if we went on vacation as a family.
JOHANNESBURG – With Christmas just days away, many families are getting ready for the long road trips to various provinces to spend quality time with their loved ones.
From camping outdoors and being one with nature to catching the biggest waves as the summer sun shines, this period is one most cannot wait for.
Randburg Sun asked the public what they will be doing this Christmas and this is what they had to say …
THABISO MSILA: I will be visiting my uncle in Pretoria this Christmas as well as attending church regularly. I will also be in church on New Year’s Eve.
SANDISO MNGXUMA: I will be visiting my family in the Vaal where we’ll have the usual delicious food with some nice beer. Exchanging gifts is not something we do anymore. I think it’s an outdated tradition.
JOHAN ENGELKE: I am looking forward to prosperity, love, happiness and peace for everyone in South Africa. This Christmas day I will be at home spending time with my family and not going out drinking or partying. Its all about the birth of Christ.
JOYCE MARK: I am looking forward to spending time with my family but what I am most excited about is the different food that will be cooked on Christmas day. There are many people out there who have no family to spend Christmas with, so I want to think about those alone during such times.
