A group of young artists from Splat ‘n That Art Experience in Berario used their creative talents to raise more than R4 000 for Randburg SPCA.

On 24 November, the youngsters and their art teacher Vanessa Ypenburg travelled to Randburg SPCA to hand over dog and cat food, animal toys and monetary donations.

Ypenburg said, “The students worked hard throughout the second half of the year to put together their studio exhibition in aid of the organisation.”

At the exhibition, stunning artworks painted by the students showcased ornate owls, landscapes and teddy bears and were sold during a silent auction, with funds from the auction collected and later donated.

After the auction, the young artists toured Randburg SPCA’s facilities and met the furry animals.
