Donations help the elderly
FERNDALE – Beanies for Beings and Seeff Randburg deliver Christmas hampers to elderly residents.
Beanies for Beings, a local charity organisation, handed out 51 Christmas hampers donated by Seeff Randburg to the residents of Cottlesloe Moth Home in Auckland Park on 15 December.
Megan Botha from Beanies for Beings said, “We were so blessed to spend time with the residents this morning. The elderly were incredibly grateful for these [hampers] as toiletries are one of their biggest needs.
“We would like to thank Ann Roberts from Seeff Randburg who helped to sponsor hampers for the elderly.”
The hampers included a selection of toiletries, biscuits and a magazine.
“We would also like to thank Christo Mulder Attorneys who sponsored boxes of tissues for the residents and Confetti KLC for the gift boxes [which were handed to] the two grounds staff [members].”
