Northwold goes all out for Halloween
NORTHWOLD – Scary but fun to celebrate Halloween

The local residents association hosted their second community party of the year by celebrating Halloween.
This was their second consecutive neighbourhood trick or treat that took place along Roxie Road.
Fun games and movies in the park were planned for the children in the area.
Conny Botha, who handles all community work and functions for the association stated, “We had over 100 children from the neighbourhood joining us for our trick or treat. Games like pin the spider and prices for the best dressed were played after the trick or treat to wait for the sun to go down.”
The movie screening was organised to start at 7pm but like in a scary Halloween story, lightning and thunder put an abrupt end to the festivities.
The residents association promised the children that they will be re-playing the movie on another occasion.
Botha believes that regardless of the weather the neighbourhood had a great afternoon and once again got a chance to strengthen the relationship between members of the community.
