The mother, Magret Muchemwa said she is happy with all the support she is receiving from the community.

Muchemwa said, “I’m so grateful for all the help and support that I had received on that day… My baby is healthy, and I don’t know what I would have done without that support.”

Muchemwa decided to name her baby Noah Nkosana. Nkosana means prince in her language.

Even though her baby was almost a month and a half premature, baby Nkosana was born with a healthy weight of 3,5kg.

Muchemwa was then taken Coronation Hospital for treatment.

She is now resting at her home with her husband and baby at their home in Tembisa on the East Rand.

Muchemwa also added, “We would really appreciate clothing donations or baby stuff for Nkosana… My husband is also unemployed, and with our new baby, we need help desperately.”

At around 4pm last Monday, when making her way home to Tembisa after work, she was stopped in her tracks with severe pain.

Within five minutes, there was a crowd of community members ready to help her call an ambulance and deliver the baby.

Magret’s employer, Eulene Duncan and child Zoey, sit with father Stephen Wami, Magret Muchemwa and baby Nkosana.
