Trinityhouse awards its top achievers

RANDPARK RIDGE – Trinityhouse High School Randpark Ridge celebrated the success of their learners through a special awards evening.

Trinityhouse High School Randpark Ridge awarded learners for their excellence in academics.

The children were awarded honour point badges as well as academic top 10 badges. The top students in Grades 8 to 11 all achieved an average higher than 90 per cent.

Public relations officer for the school, Robyn Aingworth said the matric valediction awarded matrics for their academic excellence. “Of the matric pupils, 57 received an average over 70 per cent,” she said.

Some of the top matrics included Dominique Verhufen who achieved 98,16 per cent for mathematics, Robert Gouldie who attained 92,66 per cent for physical science and Jonathan du Rand who earned 92,04 per cent for accounting.

“It was also great to see that 54 pupils received the Trinityhouse Founders Medals for attending Trinityhouse since Grade 1,” added Aingworth.

 

Deputy head boy and girl for next year, Jared Gibbons and Jennifer Meredith with head boy and girl, Bradley Jacobs and Tyla van Niekerk accept their new responsibility at Trinityhouse High School Randpark Ridge.

The prefects for next year were also announced and congratulations go to the head boy, Bradley Jacobs, head girl, Tyla van Niekerk, and deputies Jared Gibbons and Jennifer Meredith.
