All you need to know about Pikitup refuse sites

JOBURG – Throw it away at the right place.

All Pikitup refuse sites in Johannesburg operate from 8am to 5pm seven days a week.

There is no charge for dropping off your refuse at these sites, however, only household refuse is accepted.

Residents are not allowed to drop off commercial or large scale refuse. It is important that all refuse is separated before arriving at the site and then dropped off at allocated bins onsite.

The following Pikitup sites are available for local residents: 

Fairlands Pikitup site
Address – 117 5th Ave, Fairlands
Waste accepted – Paper, garden refuse, glass, used car oil, scrap metal, e-waste, tins, cardboard.

Randburg Pikitup site
Address – Hans Schoeman Street, Strydom Park
Waste accepted – Paper, garden refuse, glass, used car oil, scrap metal, e-waste, tins, cardboard.

Waterval Pikitup site
Address – 1 Albert Street, Alberts Farm
Waste accepted – Paper, garden refuse, glass, used car oil, scrap metal, e-waste, tins, cardboard.

Victory Park Pikitup site
Address – Victory Road, Victory Park Estate
Waste accepted – Paper, garden refuse, glass, used car oil, scrap metal, e-waste, tins, cardboard.
