Silver Stream Village Frail Care Centre relaunches

MALANSHOF – Silver Stream Village Frail Care Centre relaunch.

Flower Foundation Retirement Homes celebrated the relaunch of its Silver Stream Village Frail Care Centre.

The much-anticipated relaunch saw many guests attending, included residents and prospective residents of the retirement home. Chief executive officer of the centre, Johan Raubenheimer said this day was long coming and that the transformation took about six months to complete.

“The turnout for the relaunch was great and I am really happy to see all the support from the community and from those who assisted in the upgrade,” Raubenheimer said.

Johan Raubenheimer and Colleen Winfield are excited about the relaunch of the Silver Stream Frail Care Centre.

He said the peace of mind retirees get from Silver Stream Village is what makes what they offer so appealing to the community. “If you consider the living environment in this community of Silver Stream, it gives them peace of mind that they live here while they can still look after themselves and as they age they know they do not need to go anywhere else.”

Lavern Hodson, the sales manager of the home, said the reason for the relaunch was for them to show off the great strides they had accomplished with Willow Lodge. Her expectations from the event were to bring awareness to Silver Stream as it is tucked away and people can sometimes miss it. “So just to get the word out there about our fantastic frail care centre and all it has to offer,” Hodson said.
