MUST READ: Bordeaux South man found murdered

BORDEAUX SOUTH – The residents association sends its condolences to the family.

The quiet suburb of Bordeaux South has been shaken up by the discovery of a man who apparently had been murdered.
The man’s body was found on the 16 August.

According to Randburg police spokesperson Captain Makgowanyana Maja, the deceased’s ex-wife was worried about not being able to contact her ex-husband.
On arrival at the house he was renovating in Meyer Road, she discovered his body. The police and paramedics were immediately called to the scene. An early investigation revealed that only a cellphone and a CCTV recorder system were stolen.

Elinor Bodinger, head of the Bordeaux South Residents Association said, “We send our deepest condolences to the family. In order to respect the family and the police’s investigation we cannot comment further on the incident.”

Maja added that a case of murder had been opened as the victim seemed to have been assaulted.

“It is only through continued investigation that we can clarify any further details pertaining to the death,” said Maja. “We urge the community to come forward if any information is available.”
