Randburg SAPS phone lines still down

Randburg police’s Telkom landlines have not been operational since last week.
An alert was sent out to the community on 11 August advising people about the problem. According to Randburg police’s spokesperson Captain Makgowanyana Maja, contractors are busy attending to the problem as a matter of urgency.

“We advise our community to use the sector vehicle cellphone numbers for all emergency complaints,” added Maja.

Please note there are multiple suburbs for each sector that may not have been mentioned:

• Sector 1: (Strydom Park, parts of Fontainebleau, Kensington B, Vandia Grove) – 071 675 7115/6
• Sector 2 (Bryanston) – 071 675 7117/23
• Sector 3 (Bordeaux, Ferndale CBD, Hurlingham) – 071 675 7119/20,
• Alternatively contact the relief commander cellphone number – 082 469 2398
• Or call 08600 10111.
