2 critical after car crash

BOSKRUIN – Paramedics arrived at the accident scene to find two male occupants had been ejected from the vehicle.

Netcare 911 media liaison officer, Chris Botha explained at about 2.13am on 25 June, paramedics responded to a collision along Rabie Street.

“Reports from the scene indicate that the vehicle with two occupants veered off the roadway and crashed through a palisade fence.”

The exact details of the cause of the crash and preceding events are still speculative and will form part of a police investigation.

Botha added that paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the two male occupants had been ejected from the vehicle. “The men were found lying on the ground some distance from the wreckage with critical injuries.”

Medics stabilised the injured at the scene before transporting them to a hospital under the constant care of an Advanced Life Support paramedic.
