Commander of detectives at Honeydew Police Station, Colonel Wilson Seshoka, has sent a stern warning to Cosmo City’s house robbers, saying ‘their time is over’.’
Seshoka was speaking at an detective awards ceremony on 12 May at Mo-Zam-Bik Restaurant on Beyers Naude Drive.
He said, “There has been an increase in housebreaking in Cosmo City, and criminals there must know that their time is over.”
Cosmo City has been plagued with a string of violent housebreakings and robberies which led to the death of an Ext 6 tenant last month.
Captain Balan Muthan, the station’s spokesperson, warned against backroom dwelling occurring in Cosmo City, saying they contributed to the persistent scourge of criminal activities.
