Curro loves the earth
SUNDOWNER – It is important for learners to be concerned about their earth and how to protect it.
Curro Aurora united to protect the Earth and encourage others to do the same.
On 21 April the whole school gathered on the field to form the shape of the earth. Each learner took their place in perfect order to make the shape of earth with a big red heart in the middle.
The heart symbolised their love for our earth.
They also showed how important it is to encourage others to help create a healthier planet. A few Curro Aurora ‘activists’ marched through Northgate shopping centre carrying placards on World Earth Day, 22 April. The boards read “go green, green goes” and “protect earth, protect life”.
