Kholofelo seeks new and bigger heights
NORTH RIDING – Wants to encourage women to strive beyond their beauty.
Kholofelo Tsoloane takes Mrs SA by storm as she approaches the competition with an open heart and mind.
“I hope to learn from the incredible women that I’m going to meet. To share my experiences with them, as we interact with each other,” said Tsoloane.
The message she would like to send out to young women is, there’s more to being a woman than just her looks. Women have the right and an obligation to contribute to the upliftment of the nation.
“In fact the hope of our nation is not in exalting one’s gender above the other but in men and women standing side by side as equals, respecting one another’s talents. I also hope to do justice to the brands that are going to sponsor me as a contestant.”
If Tsoloane wins she hopes to meet people she would not ordinarily have met outside the pageant and learn from them and share experiences with them. Through her career, she hopes to take her experience to new and bigger things.
“I hope to impact those less fortunate by being involved in community projects organised for Mrs SA and represent all South Africans to the best of my ability.”
Fun facts about Tsoloane:
1. Achieved Limpopo colours in netball
2. An officer in the military and won the title of ‘Fittest Female’ in the South African Military Health Services, two years in a row
3. Climbed Table Mountain, skydived and bungee jumped the highest bridge bungee in the world
4. Married to a Pastor
5. Run the Two Oceans Marathon and plans to tackle the Comrades Marathon one day (hopefully wearing a Mrs SA running top).
