KJD’s little ones are above grade

MALANSHOF – The youngest of the graders at KJD Martial Arts Academy is only 3.

Children and juniors from the KJD Martial Arts Academy participated in the first grading of their martial arts careers.

The WTF Taekwondo Grading seminar was held on 29 March by Grand Master Lee at the academy in Malanshof, Randburg.

The children and juniors from the KJD Martial Arts Academy successfully graded and have moved up in the martial arts world.

The skills level that these children and juniors have acquired is world class and they are on their way to becoming champions in South Africa and possibly in the international arena as well, explained Grand Master Lee.

The youngest student is three-and-a-half years old and she is already kicking higher than waist level.

A visibly proud Lee said,

“They are our future and training these little people [will] provide society with disciplined, intelligent and caring individuals. It is not just about the physical aspect whereby they are able to defend themselves if need be, but more importantly the mental attributes as well. Their spirits are stronger, their levels of respect much higher and this assists them to do better at school and in their studies.”

The little ones graded for their 1st yellow belts and were all successful. They had to do their poomsae, breaking and gyrugi.

Lee said he is very proud of his little charges.
