Second earth tremor shakes Joburg
JOBURG – Residents shudder as a second earth tremor hits Joburg and surrounds.
UPDATE: A second earth tremor has hit the grounds of Johannesburg and surrounds tonight at around 7.44pm.
This time residents were awake to witness doors rattling and buildings and windows shaking.
A registered earthquake occurred in Botswana of 6.5 on the Richter Scale, according to earthquaketrack.com. People took to social media, and reported feeling the tremor in Joburg, Mafikeng, Kimberley, Pretoria and other parts of the country.

An earth tremor was felt throughout parts of Johannesburg at about 5am this morning (3 April). Reports have surfaced that the tremor could be felt from as far as parts of Midrand, to Randburg and Northcliff.
According to Earthquake Track an earthquake was registered with the magnitude 5.2 on the Richter Scale, in Stilfontein, North West.
