The pitter-patter of bold new beginnings at Delta Park

BLAIRGOWRIE – Delta Park School welcomes fresh young minds into their classrooms.

Classes filled with eager, fresh minds and bright smiles were the order of the day at Delta Park School.

On 11 January the school welcomed the Grade 1s to a new world of educational adventure. All the children were excited to be part of the school this year as some had previously got to know one another whilst in Grade R last year. They looked impeccable in their new school uniforms as they trotted along with packed school bags, eager to get the day started.

Whilst the newcomers and their parents had an assembly in the school hall to introduce them to the school and share its rules and regulations, those who had been at the school for their Grade R went straight to their classes.

Here they caught up with what each of them did during the past holidays and shared their excitement on the prospect of the new friends they would make.

Pontsho Moloi shared how she hopes to one day become a doctor so that she can help people. Fellow classmate, Savanna Germishuys tucked right into her new book as she paged through it and looked at it with wonder.

Tristan Baney said that he looked forward to another year of learning about dinosaurs.
