Ward 69 councillor Genevieve Sherman, wishes all residents a Merry Christmas:
“I pray that the end of 2016 will be fair and full of opportunity.
I would like to send out my message of hope. Our country is currently in a state of hopelessness but if I can give some advice … find hope in anything. Just make the sun shine brighter. Dance in the rain.
May your heart’s desires be fulfilled and receive what you have always dreamed about and may the blessings rain in abundance over your families and yourselves.
I will send out our service delivery year-end schedules to the community. Our recess begins on 16 December. I will ensure service delivery still takes place and will assist where I can.
Ward 69 will see more exciting projects planned for next year where more job opportunities will be created. I believe that it will be brighter with communities working hand-in-hand.
As partners we are going to make sure that our ward works!”
