Constable Thabo Ranooe was surprised, yet extremely grateful when Honeydew CPF Sector 2, public relations officer, Jon Rosenberg handed the CPF Goodwill Shield over to him.
Ranooe received the shield for October for his dedicated work at the Honeydew Police Station. He was nominated for this honour by Lieutenant Colonel JL van der Walt for his hard work. “He always does what is expected of him and never complains,” said Van der Walt and added that he is always willing to assist wherever he is needed.
“Apart from his work ethic, Ranooe also made the most arrests for October. He is an example for the rest of the members,” said Van der Walt.
Rosenberg handed the shield over on 12 November at the Honeydew Police Station and thanked Ranooe for the hard work he has put in to try and make Honeydew a safer place. “Congratulations on your success,” concluded Rosenberg.
Papachinos, Roodepoort, donated a meal voucher to recipients of the shield in both September and October.
