Trick or treat, Randpark Ridge?

RANDPARK RIDGE – Bloodcurdling horrors descend on Loerie park.

Weird, wonderful and darn right scary beings descended on Loerie Park, Randpark Ridge, for Halloween.

Residents of the area decided to get together for a second Halloween after last year’s successful event, but this one was even bigger and better.

Ghouls, ghosts, ghostbusters, zombies, vampires, witches, superheroes, pirates, supervillains, fairies, Maleficents, little devils, animals, Chuckies, cat burglers, mad scientists, you name it – they were there.

“It has been beautiful. We did not expect so many people,” said Randpark Ridge Community Facebook Page admin, Carola Trummer. “All funds raised will go to Caring For Others, a non-profit organisation in the community which is yet to be registered.”

Prizes were presented to the best dressed children, the best dressed adults, and the best decorated stalls. A raffle was also held, before all the monstrosities went on a lantern walk on the streets, trick or treating.
