A car has hit a pedestrian on Malibongwe Drive near Central Road.
Slight traffic congestion was caused by the incident, which happened at about 2pm on 1 October. City of Joburg Emergency Management Services and Linden Police were first on scene, shortly followed by ER24 paramedics.
Personnel from both emergency services treated the man, who sustained head injuries. He was then taken to a nearby medical facility in an ER24 ambulance. ER24 was not immediately available for comment.
Linden Police took a statement from the couple and child in the car but spokesperson, Captain Walter Spencer, was also not immediately available for comment.
