Night of arts at Trinityhouse Randpark Ridge

RANDPARK RIDGE – Pupils from Trinityhouse Randpark Ridge perform various arts activities.

Trinityhouse Preparatory School hosted their Annual Performing Arts Evening on 21 September with scores of parents attending to witness their children perform on stage.

The performance was officially opened by the school’s senior choir, followed by monologues and vocals performed by pupils. It was an eclectic mix of classical music, contemporary dance, African rhythms, rock music and even experimental drama. It showcased and celebrated the talent and hard work of all the performing arts pupils.

“Trinityhouse values a holistic approach to learning. The arts is a way of unleashing creative minds. Pupils at Trinityhouse are encouraged to participate in a wide variety of activities offered by the school. The teachers are, in many cases, accomplished performers in their own right,” said the personal assistant to the headmaster, Reneé Everett.

During the evening, the school highlighted the plight of lions held in captivity with a display of artworks in the foyer.

The African-themed evening depicted hope and love for South Africa and the bright future Trinityhouse is building. “Trinityhouse Preparatory School in Randpark Ridge shows a highly professional and inspiring performance,” said Everett.
