WATCH: Jumping for Joy dogs

SONNEGLANS – Jazmine, Oscar and Yola warm the hearts of those around them.

Sue Green and her three fluffy four-legged fur children entertained residents at Sonneglans Retirement Park.

Green and her delightful Old English sheepdogs Jazmine, Oscar and Yola spread ‘JOY’ wherever they go. The group visits a number of places ranging from retirement homes, hospitals, schools, corporates and all do appearances for a well-known paint company.

Green, herself, has always had a keen interest in dogs and has been training them for about 20 years. She has assisted in running support groups with a psychologist and social worker that focus on helping people with personality disorders and psychological problems.

At Sonneglans Retirement Park smiles were beaming and giggles were heard as residents watched the dogs do their special tricks. The JOY dogs are so special that they can, in fact, count. It is truly amazing to watch the dogs bark the years of their age.

Jazmine the noisy and naughty one, barked her way through their performance as Green showed how the trio could read notes like, sit and down.

The dogs worked so hard to make the residents happy they even jumped through hoops and crawled through tunnels.

Green displayed a few of the products she has on offer from dog finger puppets to blankets and scarves made from the dogs’ long hair.

“I think the dogs have a way of warming anyone’s heart whether it is by the tricks or their big furry, friendly natures,” said Green.

“Jazmine, Oscar and Yola entertain all who they meet, especially at corporate functions where they could do with a little light-hearted fun.”
