Northriding College is expanding its family and has commenced with the building of its new high school.
Northriding College, located in the heart of Northriding, will aid pupils in providing further steps to success and future experience. The owner, Daneel Tapinos said, “We currently take children from Grade R to Grade 7 and due to the demand from the area as well as the current parents in the school, we have started phase two, to go to high school,” explained Tapinos.
The high school – on the same property – will house additional sports fields, a hall, science laboratory and a library. The class capacity will remain small to ensure that each pupil has individual attention. “We will most likely have three classes of each grade but we have catered space for more, should the need arise,” added Tapinos.
Phase two, the high school phase, is expected to be operational for the 2018 academic year. Applications for pupils have already begun.
