“Overcoming poverty is not a task of charity, it is an act of justice,” said the late Nelson Mandela.
During Mandela Day, on 18 July, the public is asked to participate in 67 minutes of giving back to the community and doing good. However, there are many charities, NGOs, NPOs and community-based organisations that need help throughout the year to keep on making a difference in the community.
