MUST READ: Major water outage in Olivedale

Joburg Water has informed residents of a major burst pipe at the corner of President Fouche Drive and Jacaranda Road in Olivedale.

The Olivedale reservoir has been closed to repair the burst.

The following areas will be affected:

• All extensions of Olivedale
• Netcare Olivedale hospital
• Parts of North Riding
• Parts of Johannesburg North
• Sharonlea Ext 27
• Parts of Bryanston Ext 3

Water tankers will be placed at the following points:

• Netcare Olivedale Hospital – refill existing tanks (to be monitored regularly)
• The corner of Jacaranda Road and President Fouche Drive
• The corner of Pritchard Street and Windsor Way
• The corner of Windsor Way and Christo Avenue
• Meadow Brook Office Park on Jacaranda Road.
