WATCH: SPCA Randburg charity shop revamped

NORTH RIDING – Find out what’s hiding inside North Riding’s secret shopping spot.

The SPCA Randburg renovated their charity store and invited the public to take a look at the amazing items that can be found.

After long-time charity store manager retired, general manager Craig Rudman, decided it was time for a change. “As we all know change is as good as a holiday, we want to showcase how great our charity shop is looking,” added Rudman.

The shop sells all sorts of items from clothes, toys, to appliances, stunning furniture and even expensive artwork. Spotted recently was even a working telescope. All the items in the shop are donated by the public. The proceeds made from sales are directly filtered into the every day running of the SPCA. “From staff wages, to electricity bills, we rely on the funds received from our little store,” said Rudman.

The shop has been rearranged to make shopping a much more pleasant experience. When visiting the shop friendly staff members Brighton Magomore, Jabu Hlatshwayo and Steny Sundae welcome you inside and even offer to show you around the shop and help you.

The clothes range from suits to shoes for men and women.
