A man succumbed to his injuries following an accident on the N1 South between Malibongwe and Beyers Naudé drives.
Netcare 911 media liaison officer Athlenda Mathe explained that two vehicles collided in the morning of 16 April.
“The exact detail to the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation and comment,” she said.
“When Netcare 911 paramedics arrived on scene, we found that the driver of one of the vehicles had already died due to the extensive injuries he sustained. The man was declared dead by Netcare 911 paramedics on scene.”
She added that the other driver was unharmed.
