A Pizza Del Forno deliveryman was knocked off his motorcycle on the corner of Rabie Street and Martha Road North, Fontainebleau.
Metro Police spokesperson Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said that the accident that occurred on the afternoon of 6 April will be investigated.
He could not confirm the cause of the accident, nor the extent of the man’s injuries, but said that a car had collided with the motorcycle, and the motorcyclist was taken in a VitalMed ambulance to Netcare Olivedale Hospital for treatment.
A woman who was in the car at the time of the accident said that as she and the driver were turning from Martha Road North onto Rabie Street, the motorcycle hit the right side of the car.
