A standard road block in Florida lead to a police car chase down the N1 when a vehicle failed to stop at the road block.
The chase, which took place on 8 March ended on the Malibongwe off-ramp with one suspect being apprehended.
Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar, said that the JMPD conducted a road block in Florida when a white VW Cirocco failed to comply with the JMPD and sped off. Minnaar went on to explain that the car was eventually stopped on the Malibongwe off-ramp.
He also added that the car involved in the chase was linked to a robbery that took place in Pretoria back in January.
One suspect has now been arrested and is being held at the Honeydew Police Station.
