Honeydew SAPS and CPF donate over 4 000 litres of water
HONEYDEW – The water shortage is still a big problem in certain areas. The Honeydew SAPS and CPF come together with the community to donate water to the Rocci Water Drive.
The Honeydew SAPS and Honeydew CPF came together again to donate water for the Roodepoort Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Rocci).
CPF public relations manager, Jon Rosenberg said that they had a collection point for members of the community to bring water to Panorama Primary School in Weltevreden Park on 19 February. Members of the community as well as the school came out in their masses to donate water for this cause
The CPF alongside Honeydew SAPS, have surpassed their previous water donation of 2 397 litres with a staggering 4 012 litres of water donated to the Rocci Water Drive on 19 February. Warrant Officer Karen Jacobs said that its good for the community to not only stand together against crime, but also for a good cause. “We have to stand together to help other people,” said WO Jacobs.
