A two-year-old boy was found floating in a family pool at 1.49pm Bordeaux on 6 February.
Netcare 911 and Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to the call. “Reports from the scene indicate that family members found the boy floating in the pool and pulled him out of the water,” said Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha.
Exact details to the cause of him falling in, however, remains a subject for police comment.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the child was still breathing but unresponsive and in a critical condition. Paramedics worked hand in hand to stabilise the child and after placing him on a ventilator, the infant was airlifted to a specialised facility for the required care.
