Londoloza Protection Group has confirmed that the IWJ jewellery store in Northgate shopping centre entrance 4 was robbed at around 12:30 today.
The store was allegedly robbed by six armed suspects, who are believed to be driving a silver Nissan Qashqai and a white Toyota Corolla.
Police are on the scene and investigating, no injuries are reported.
Natalie Kinsley Marketing manager of Northgate shopping centre said, ”A panic button alerted the security to the incident whom immediately notified Honeydew SAPS. The police arrived immediately and are currently investigating the incident. We are waiting to hear the full police report following a thorough investigation, in the mean time the centre is busy with activity and running as normal”
