Netcare 911 Media Liaison Officer Athlenda Mathe said, “Reports from the scene indicate that a group of men entered a business property in Randburg and held people hostage demanding cell phones and watches amongst other things.”
“During the robbery, a security guard at the premises was wounded as fleeing robbers opened fire. The wounded security guard was transported privately to a nearby hospital.
One of the suspects alleged to be part of the group has been apprehended.”
Netcare911 paramedics arrived on scene to check if there are people that sustained injuries on scene.
