St Stithians boys and girls excel in their Matric results

LYME PARK – St Stithians boys' and girls' colleges received a 100 per cent Matric pass rate.

St Stithians Boys’ College obtained a 100 per cent Matric pass rate with 150 candidates writing the 2015 Matric exams. Ninety-seven per cent of the pupils achieved a bachelor’s degree pass and 80 per cent received distinctions. The Girls’ College had 105 pupils who sat for exams and also achieved a 100 per cent pass rate. St Stithians Girls’ College received 99 per cent bachelor’s degree passes with an overall score of 80 per cent distinctions obtained.

Principal of the girls’ college Ivanka Acquisto congratulated the Matriculants. “We express our gratitude to the teachers of the Preparatory and Junior Preparatory schools of St Stithians College, and to the teachers at other schools whose students enrolled at the boys’ and girls’ colleges,” she said.

“We wish all our Matriculants a fulfilling first year out of school, wherever they find themselves, and we encourage them all to stay connected with St Stithians as they venture forth into this new stage of their lives,” Acquisto concluded.
