Dineo Ranaka to face assault charges
DOUGLASDALE – Dineo Ranaka is facing assault charges after hitting a 22-year-old woman in the face with a bottle of champagne.
Popular radio and TV personality Dineo Ranaka has been allegedly accused of beating a woman in an upmarket restaurant in Johannesburg with a bottle of champagne.

It is further alleged that Ranaka was celebrating her birthday at the restaurant when she hit 22-year-old Tehila Nothnagel with the bottle in the face which resulted in Nothnagel getting six stitches.

Communications officer from the Douglasdale Police Station, Warrant Officer Balan Muthan confirmed that a case of assault has been opened with them and that it is currently being investigated.
