Maragon celebrates its top Matric achievers

RUIMSIG – Top Matric pupils are congratulated for their hard work.

Maragon Ruimsig Private School achieved a 100 per cent Matric pass rate in 2015. 88 per cent of pupils qualified for a Bachelor degree, and 12 per cent qualified for diplomas.

One pupil achieved seven distinctions, namely, Keith Jordaan. His highest mark was 91 per cent in Afrikaans. Kurt Swart achieved six distinctions. His highest mark was 88 per cent in mathematics.

Four pupils achieved five distinctions. They were Alexandra Albrecht, Karli Coetzee, Erin Crawford and Bianca le Roux.

Eight pupils achieved four distinctions. They were Tyrone de Agrela, Richard Dixie, Eleanor Froneman, Kyle Hendry, Danielle Jordaan, Cassandra Kirby-Smith, Drew Llewellyn and Yuvisthi Naidoo.

Eight pupils achieved three distinctions. They were Paige Collinson, Calvin de Gouveia, Sarah Gray, Liam Levy, Douglas McLeod-Elliott, Atari Middleton, Layla Norman and Nathan van Muylwyk.

“We applaud our 2015 graduates on their remarkable performance,” said school principal Deon Visser. “Our Educators are also congratulated for their continued tenacity, encouragement, warmth and dedication. It is their belief in the infinite potential of each learner that enables Maragon Ruimsig Private School to produce these fine results. Maragon salutes our 2015 Matriculants. You have made us extremely proud.”
