Help find missing salon owner

KENSINGTON B – Thandi Okeke’s vehicle was found abandoned at View Road in Hurlingham.

It has been more than 17 days since Thandi Okeke went missing and police need public assistance to find her.

She was last seen on 22 November at about 7pm driving out from her salon in her red C-Class Mercedes Benz.

The 28-year-old woman was dressed in a green dress and black leggings.

According to the police statement, she has been the owner of the salon on the corner of Bram Fischer Drive and Jan Smuts Avenue, Randburg CBD since 2013.

Okeke is 1.6m tall and weighs 55kg.

“She’s got a butterfly tattoo on the right hand and a flower tattoo on the left leg,” explained Randburg Police spokesperson Constable Stanley Bopape.

He said that police from the Crime Prevention Unit found the vehicle abandoned at View Road in Hurlingham while they were patrolling.

“Anyone with information can contact Okeke’s husband Magnus on 083 33 4 3930 or Constable Sbongiseni Zungu on 0716757122,” concluded Const Bopape.
