BROMHOF – Pupils from the Crystal Castle Nursery entertain parents with a remake of the classic, 'Wizard of Oz'.

Pupils from the Crystal Castle Nursery starred in their annual year-end concert at the nursery.

This year marks the 27th concert held by the school that was founded by Patricia Dennis, in 1988.

Dennis opened the concert by telling parents to learn from their children.

“Children live in the moment. We must remember that nothing in our life is a sure thing, it can change at anytime. Live in the moment and be positive for now,” said Dennis.

The theme of the concert was a retake on the classic movie, Wizard of the Oz, reworked by Dennis.

Excited parents and siblings sat in front of the stage while entertained by music, while waiting for the show to start.

All the known and loved characters were present, like Dorothy, the lion, the scarecrow and the tin man, as well as a bunch of new characters.

Pupils sang songs from the movie, recited poems and danced. They were even joined by a teacher dressed as a lion, at one point.

The lovely costumes, music, the story and the lively pupils put smiles on the faces of very proud parents.
