Honeydew water shutdown cancelled
HONEYDEW – The planned water outage has been cancelled until further notice.
The scheduled water outage in Honeydew has been cancelled by Joburg Water on 16 November.
The planned water interruption at the Honeydew reservoir and surrounding areas was supposed to start at 6am on 17 November and end at 6am on 18 November.
However, Joburg Water posted a message on its Twitter page, which reads, “Please note planned shutdown for Honeydew, Sundowner, Northriding AH & surrounding areas has been cancelled until further notice.”

Joburg Water Acting communications and marketing Manager David Sibiya said, “This was not an emergency water interruption, therefore we [Joburg Water] felt that we should wait considering the current situation. ”
The new date will be determined at a later stage.
