Outlaws SA Line Dance Club invites public

BERARIO – Outlaws SA invites people who are interested in dancing to come and join their Line Dance Club at Berario Recreation Centre.

Line dancing is one of those forms of socialising and improving someone’s fitness while losing weight.

Outlaws SA, is a friendly line-dance club, that welcomes everyone of any age and gender.

They also do not require any previous dancing experience and no partner is necessary.

Outlaws SA members go through their dance routine.

Nancy Mawdsley, a member of the Outlaws SA explained that, “There are so many things that we can do to keep our communities healthy including encouraging people to adopt a healthy living lifestyle.” She emphasised that Outlaws SA does not compete, as previously reported by Randburg Sun, “In our club it’s all about fun, socialising, getting fit and meeting new friends.”

Mawdsley further added that it’s not all about learning to dance or wanting to advance, it’s about fun and laughter while meeting new friends and getting fit to really good music.

“And did you know that dancing can also help manage your weight, increase flexibility and keep you mentally fit,” Mawdsley said.

The dance sessions take place every Tuesday and Thursday.

“On Tuesdays we are at St Mungo’s United Church in Bryanston, and Thursdays we are at the Berario Recreation Centre. The centre is situated on corner of Kings and Dolores streets,” concluded Nancy.
