Flabba murder case starts in Randburg Magistrates’ Court

KENSINGTON B – The State has called its first witness in the Flabba murder trial at the Randburg Magistrates' Court.

The murder trial of Sindisiwe Precious Manqele started on 7 September at the Randburg Magistrates’ Court.

Manqele, the girlfriend of Nkululeko Habedi, former SA rap artist known as ‘Flabba’, is accused of his murder.

She pleaded not guilty and said she acted in self-defence.

Flabba’s cousin, Luyanda Silupa, gives his recollection of what happened on the day and night before the murder, where both the accused and Flabba were present at The Sands, in Sandton.

The case was previously postponed on 17 August.
