Rand Park High School appointed and inducted its new leaders at a special Tie Ceremony on 26 August.
The new leaders were accompanied by their parents at this special event.
Principal Alan Wilke and deputy principal Gaye Schütte, presented each pupil with a Leadership Tie, to symbolically acknowledge and induct them as leaders of the school.
The Rand Park High Leaders’ Tie represents leadership, respect and duty to the school.
According to Schütte, “The newly appointed leaders are role models and mentors. They will be challenged to uphold the school motto of integrity and commitment during their tenure as leaders and to continue the legacy of strong leadership set by the outgoing leaders.”
The new leaders assume their duties immediately for the remainder of 2015 and for the duration of 2016.
